My first loss

Well ok here is what my weight was at the very start of this journey i was mortified when i saw my number 174.8 *gasp*wow today i feel good for the past two days i have done my yoga each morning and when i weighed myself this morning i weigh 171.2 so i have lost 3lbs 6OZ YAY!!!!! its a good loss i’m happy with it i’m not expecting overnight success but its a start,and i’m on meds that usually make people gain weight so it makes it even harder to lose. I will coninue my yoga each morning so its some activity along with the usual walking and stuff i do daily.WOW i am so happy my journey is on a move!

Ok so its been about two weeks i have not (that i know of) lost any weight mind you its been interesting, my stepfather had a stroke a few weeks ago so life has not quite completely gone back to normal, as for me i have been relatively good this week not to say i did not steal a few cookies here and there. I have been busy with preparing for stage(internship) but for now, i know only two days but in need of something quick i decided to make a salad instead of microwaved something, its a healthy option and filling I find when i have a normal size salad i don’t feel the need to eat more afterwards boy i hope this works and no i’m not living on salads, but may not say no to one unless i’ve already eaten. I will post a pic soon and my starting weight,mind you people knowing my weight makes me cringe mabie tomorrow i will post my weight picture i have to find.

Ok so i’ve had a really crappy day and need a tiny bit of comfort food i saw KD in the fridge left by my kids and i don’t eat any cheese products as you all know but i did want something fast and easy so i figued out how to take some leftover pasta and turn it into a vegan KD it was incredibly easy and not too bad for me though it could be better but at 1:46 am i want fast and easy i have not eaten since this morning with toast and penut butter so this is my dinner. next time i randomly poast about my dinner i will try and post a pic.

The Plan

Ok so i have a plan now, i actually made it last night while lying in bed (total insomiac). Ok so here are my stats at present. 5 feet half an inch 175lbs. the loss needed at least 55 to 60 lbs thats a hefty loss, its gonna take some time. Ok so the plan is for my birthday March 16 i will commit to 1.eat healthy meals and snacks. 2.shop healthy. 3.cut junk food. 4.start my green smoothis again. 5. yoga every AM and PM 6.work hard at getting healthy and losing weight. 7.walk more. god i hope i can remember all that there are so many recipes i want to try out and there healthy some not so much so rethinking them but overall pretty healthy food looking forward to learning to cook better and healthier and most defanately lose a bit of weight.

the hit of 2014!

Wow the feeling of shame i felt the time i weighed myself and i had hit an all time high! OMG i felt like my life if over, well i did some reading and its not so but to start i am going to tell you my stats i am5 feet half and inch so i’m not tall and can look big very easily hell i looked big at 140 lbs after my son was born but its to be expected after a baby now my babyis 17 yrs old so that is gone no more excuses for me. I did do some reading and have a plan some think that writing everything you eat down helps i found both yes and no last summer i became vegan and gained weight good lord how did that happen? well i was eating a fair bit of processed foods if you’re transitioning to veganism don’t get into the quick and easy learn to cook. That is another thing i will be learning as I write this blog i have learned to cook a bit but not a lot of things so i’m limited but i have learned to shop well and i don’t mean cheaply well that too but i mean healthy but if you can get all the sales there is no shame in that either in fact i managed to get four bags of groceries for 50$ at metro store It had amazing sales that week and they were mostly veggies too. that week i taught my son who is talking about moving when he is a bot older so i brought him shoping with a friend of his and we all made a nice vegan stir fry with tofu that nightand the next we made a vegan trir fry with penut satay sauce, so i am using this as a teaching and learning tool for my kids as well as myself. so to recap we have learned to shop and to cook simple meals we all enjoy infact my daughter who hayes tofu said at the table Mom i hated tofu before but you made it welll this time i like it only that time it was asian style again. not only am I enjoying this so are they we are having fun. and hell they are the last people who need to lose weight, that is my departement.
